Live beyond yourself.
Scripture: Proverbs 13:22
The Story
An old man was planting a mango tree.
Someone asked, “Why plant it when you may never enjoy its fruit?”
He replied:
“I am eating from trees planted by people who never enjoyed their fruit.”
That is legacy.
A future-ready man doesn’t only ask, “What can I get?”
He asks:
“What am I building for those coming after me?”
Your children are watching your character, marriage, work ethic, faith and attitude.
Your greatest legacy may not be what you leave to your children, but what you leave in them.
Challenge
Teach someone something valuable this week.
Plant a tree whose fruit others will enjoy.
Final Thought
“Don’t wait for the future to arrive before you prepare for it. Start becoming today the man your future requires.”
