The Secret Place

THE SECRET PLACE: A Place of Protection and Security

Psalms 91:3-7 NKJV
[3] Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler And from the perilous pestilence. [4] He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler. [5] You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, Nor of the arrow that flies by day, [6] Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday. [7] A thousand may fall at your side, And ten thousand at your right hand; But it shall not come near you.

The world is full of uncertainties. Economic instability, insecurity, health challenges, and family pressures often leave men burdened and anxious. Yet God promises supernatural protection to those who dwell in His presence.

The secret place is not an escape from reality; it is where we gain divine confidence to face reality. God’s protection does not mean the absence of challenges, but His presence in the midst of them.

When Daniel was thrown into the lions’ den, God’s presence preserved him. When the three Hebrew boys entered the fiery furnace, God was already waiting for them there.

Men carry enormous responsibilities. They provide, lead, protect, and make critical decisions. Such responsibilities require more than human wisdom; they require divine covering.

A man who dwells in God’s presence develops confidence not because he knows everything, but because he knows the One who knows everything.
